Be a Champion for the Animals

Fundraising Tips

    STEP 1: REGISTER

First thing is to register! Visit the registration page to sign up as an individual, family, join a team or start a team of your own.

Once you are registered, you will gain access to your own personalized donation page that makes tracking your fundraising efforts easy. You can share your donation page on social media to make it easy for your friends and family to donate on your behalf.

STEP 2: PERSONALIZE YOUR FUNDRAISING PAGE

Your personal fundraising page is a great place to share your story and tell others why you are participating in Dog Jog. Whether it is because your pet is a rescue, in memory for a beloved pet that has passed, or because you want to see an end to animal cruelty. Inspire your donors by sharing your story.

STEP 3: SET YOUR SIGHTS ON A FUNDRAISING GOAL

An ambitious fundraising goal shows people your level of commitment to this important cause. Potential donors want to see you succeed and setting a high goal will motivate them to give generously in hopes of helping you achieve your target.

STEP 4: BE YOUR FIRST DONOR

Start by making a donation to yourself. A personal donation highlights your dedication and inspires others to rise to the challenge by following your lead.

    STEP 5: REACH OUT

Create a list of potential donors you wish to connect with. Then share your story with them through multiple channels like email, social media and face-to-face conversations. Check out the ready-to-use images and social media posts we have drafted for you at the bottom of this page.

    STEP 6: GIVE THANKS

Don't forget to thank those who have supported your fundraising efforts personally and update them every so often with your progress. Recognition of their support will make them feel appreciated.

      Pledge Form

Your online donation page will track all of your online donations and you are not required to record these donations on a pledge form.

For all offline (cash) donations, please click here to download the pledge form. Be sure to collect all of the donor's information on the pledge form to ensure we are able to provide them with a tax receipt.
You will be able to submit all cash donations when you pick up your event package on either June 4th, or 5th.
